Jim and Jules were both designed for the Finnish furniture company Vivero. Jim and Jules are characteristically different chairs with individual qualities that compete for the user's attention. However, the two are also closely related, sharing common parts and consistent forms. Jim and Jules are easy chairs suited for public lobbies and reception spaces as well as for private relaxation. Both are symmetrical but slightly different in overall shape. There are two alternatives for bases: one is lower and more relaxed and the other is higher and more upright. The seat on both is an all-covered pressed wooden construction with a steel base.
