Tikau light collection

For the Tikau Light Collection, Studio Suppanen collaborated with Tikau, a design firm that employs and empowers artisans from rural communities in India. Tikau challenged Studio Suppanen to create a sustainable interior design object that could provide aid and livelihood to these communities by employing over 120 artisans with a fair source of income making the objects. Utilizing cutting-edge LED technology and fiber optics, Studio Suppanen designed an energy-efficient and sustainable lighting solution. Each lighting structure is handmade and unique with its exterior shell gently diffusing the warm light into its interior environment.
